the insomnia’s gone.
Tomorrow I’m going on a forced walk in the park. Usually i have no time to go to the park, seeing that it’s in the opposite direction of pretty much everything closely related to civilization, and usually I’m to tired to go.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I love walking. I walk a lot, and if I don’t I take the lift up to the thirteenth floor and go down all the stairs. But I just don’t have the time to go to the park.
However, the fresh[er] air will do me good. My lungs have been hurting nowadays. The smell of the lake and the grass, with just a hint of pollution, will do me good. Really, I can’t bear completely clean air. When I go to the mountains, my lungs hurt even more. And when I get back home, I can sense that the air is different. City air smells better.
I’ve been able to sleep at normal hours, thankfully. I now fall asleep at about one or two, and wake up at seven and just sit in bed waiting for the alarm clock to ring. It rings at eight. Then I get up, wash et caetera, take my meds, eat some soup, get my daily double dose of caffeine and either go out or work on something boring indoors. At some point I head off to school, from where I head off to our lovely pub for a beer or three. Then, depending on my mood, I walk home or take the bus. And then random stuff.
I lead a rather uninteresting life. I really enjoy it, though.
For some reason the hookah-smoking caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland pops into my head at random moments. I really loved that book. I should read it again.
