I lit a candle for Kurt Vonnegut. He died last year on my birthday. I lit the candle a few days ago. That made me feel peaceful.

I also took photos of people carrying candles down the street. I always wanted to do that, ever since I was a kid. You see, I live near a church. Every year I look at the people and their candles going down the streets on Easter.

You don’t have to be religious, you know. I lit a candle for Kurt Vonnegut and it made me peaceful.
